Whether you use your hot tub as a family or it’s an adult-only space for relaxing, we have a whole host of hot tub accessories to make taking a dip even more fun.

In this blog, we countdown some of the best accessories on the market and look at the maintenance essentials you need to keep your hot tub gleaming.

Five of the best hot tub accessories

  1. Floating games board

Imagine being able to play your favourite board game while you’re relaxing in the hot tub without the fear of it getting wet. Our double-sided floating games board is waterproof and magnetic, so you can enjoy a game of chess or backgammon without your pieces sliding around the board as you desperately try to stop them from falling into the water!

If you like this, you might also enjoy our hot tub waterproof playing cards or the double-sided Kool Tray. One side of this cleverly-designed tray has pockets to hold your drinks while the other has a flat surface so you can use it to rest your board game on. Made from foam insulation, it keeps your drinks cool even in the warm spa water.

  1. Underwater light show

If you’re looking for a hot tub accessory to really enhance your spa experience then this is it. The underwater light show is a floating, colour-changing disco ball with ultra-bright LEDs and ten different settings. Whether your guests are taking a dip or just admiring your hot tub from the side, this light show is the ultimate garden party accessory.

  1. Inflatable spa bar

Keep your drinks and snacks close to hand with an inflatable spa bar. Easy to rest on the edge of your hot tub and with multiple-sized pockets for food and drink, this is a sure-fire way to add more fun to your hot tub. No more getting in and out of your tub to carry things back and forth from the kitchen – with the spa bar, it’s already there.

  1. Hydrotherapy crystals

For a completely different sensory experience, why not give hot tub aromatherapy a go. Spazazz’s hydrotherapy crystals create an aromatherapy sensation that targets every part of the body. There are six fragrances to choose from that relax and rejuvenate the mind and body – muscle, joint, energy, stress, detox and sport.

If you like these, you might also enjoy our cocktail range of aromatherapy crystals, including, flirty, romance, passion, celebrate, wild fiesta, and seduction. Each one is made to smell like a different cocktail for a fun way to lift your mood.

  1. Hot tub aromatherapy elixirs

Hot tub aromatherapy elixirs are a great way to take your spa experience to the next level, and they are practical too. They stop the smell of chlorine clinging to your skin, and they come in a range of fragrances to suit any occasion.

Try the Spazazz Elixirs in warm French vanilla, pina colada, or sweet pea apple. The blend of botanicals in each bottle is beautifully fragranced and moisturises your skin.

There are seven fragrances to choose from in the Wellness Aromatherapy range, from energising ginger to cleansing green tea and soothing cedarwood. There is a fragrance to match your every mood, whether you want something refreshing or relaxing.

Hot tub accessories for maintenance

Our range of cleaning essentials is designed to make cleaning your spa quick and easy. Have you heard of the grit gitter? This handheld underwater vacuum picks up sand and debris from the bottom of your hot tub, and you can use it while you’re in the spa.

You might prefer the alternative Paradise SpaVac – a simple way to clean your hot tub. It works without batteries or electricity using just the suction of a vacuum, but it’s still powerful enough to pick up small stones, debris, and sand from the bottom of your tub. And because it’s made from lightweight materials, it’s easy to handle.

To protect your hot tub from damage, we recommend using 303 Aerospace Protectant. It prevents fading and cracking and restores lost colour to keep your hot tub looking newer for longer. You might also benefit from using a weather-proof cover to guard your hot tub against UV damage when it’s not in use. Our vinyl TubGuard comes in a neutral colour that blends into its environment so your hot tub stays tidy all year round.

To make day-to-day use of your hot tub even easier, we stock a range of practical accessories, from a shelf to store your spa cover to a stand for your lid. These little extras are designed to keep everything tidy, so all you have to do is sit back and relax.

Why choose Hot Tubs & Living?

We’re a family-run business based in North Yorkshire with a passion for hand-picking innovative, high-quality hot tubs for the UK market. Our story started over a decade ago on a family trip to Germany, where we fell in love with the spa experience. The comfort, style, and simplicity of using a hot tub every day made a lasting impression on us.

Since then, we’ve been importing and selling hot tubs, carefully chosen for their energy efficiency and user friendliness. We believe that it’s possible to combine quality, comfort, and style, with sustainability, and all this without breaking the bank.

We are proud to stock Softub, a brand well known for its energy efficient and portable hot tubs, and Villeroy and Boch spas with their ground-breaking JetPak technology – a removable massage unit that can be combined with your favourite hot tub seat.

Our showroom, based in York, is open for pre-booked visitors seven days a week. We have over 50 hot tubs on display with live demos, spread over 150 square meters. You can buy your accessories online or book an appointment to come and speak to our friendly team who have plenty of hints and tips on how to look after your hot tub.
