Patio Hot Tubs: High Quality Investment for Commercial Use

patio hot tubs

Although we have seen a huge rise in popularity for home spas and garden hot tubs, if you are a leisure or hospitality business looking to make an extra impact on your customers and provide them with an amazing experience, then hot tubs are the ideal investment solution.

Patio hot tubs in particular are proving extremely useful for holiday lets, cabin, lodges, gyms, and smaller hotels thanks to their compact size and in some cases, their portability. Especially when space is at a premium.

In this blog, we discuss how patio hot tubs can be a worthwhile and high-quality investment for businesses like yours to make the most out of your space and give your customers a truly wonderful experience.

What is a Patio Hot tub?

As the name suggests, these hot tubs are designed to fit neatly onto a patio, concrete base, or decking.

A patio hot tub combines the sleek lines of a traditional acrylic hot tub and comes with all the essential features for a relaxing dip after a long day, including jets and seating, it is just slightly more compact and is more practical for those with limited space.

What are the benefits for commercial businesses?

With the rising popularity for hot tubs at home while still being out of budget for many households, it makes sense for businesses to make the most of this trend and ensure they are offering all that they can to attract customers. With the cost-of-living crisis meaning people are likely to look closer to home for holidays or breaks away, hot tubs offer that little extra luxury that may be the difference between a customer choosing your business over that of a competitor.

Patio hot tubs are ideal for space saving

When it comes to the practicalities of space, patio hot tubs are perfect. You do not need to invest in expanding your infrastructure as they can fit almost anywhere. One of the big benefits to patio hot tubs over traditional hot tubs are that they are less weighty, so they can be situated on any stable, flat surface.

This gives you more flexibility in terms of deciding where to put your hot tub and if you have limited space, this becomes ever more important. Lodges, cabins, and holiday lets are perfect examples of where a patio hot tub would be beneficial, however they still offer benefits to smaller hotels and gyms where you may already have maximised your indoor and outdoor spaces.

Although you may dismiss patio hot tubs due to their perceived size, with a wide range of (smaller) sizes on offer, they are still big enough to accommodate your customer needs, with the average patio hot tub still being built to seat 4 people and some even comfortably seating 6 people.

They are generally sized at a height of 60cm to 100cm, length from 150cm-250cm and width 150cm-250cm.

They still offer the luxury of fixed hot tubs

One concern we get regularly from businesses here at Hot tubs & Living is that patio hot tubs may not offer the same luxury as fixed or traditional hot tubs. This is simply not true. Thanks to advanced innovation and design, patio hot tubs come with a lot of the functionality and luxury you would expect. In the larger patio hot tubs, you can even expect features such as adjustable heating, WiFi control and underwater lighting, and even the smallest patio hot tubs come with a range of jets, so you still have access to full massage capability!

They are a high-quality investment

Patio hot tubs offer a high-quality investment for commercial use thanks to being more affordable than their traditional counterparts, while still offering good functionality and comfort your customers would expect.

Not only is the initial investment lower but patio hot tubs are also extremely economical to run, making them more cost-effective than a full hot tub. These lower running costs can be easily offset by the extra business offering a hot tub can bring.

Hot tubs really can give your business an added extra when marketing your holiday let, cabin or lodge as they have a wide appeal to many, if you invest in a covering, then their all-year-round use is an even better selling point, making patio hot tubs a high-quality investment.
