Furnish your holiday home with a Softub

holiday home softub

If you have a holiday home that you either use yourself or hire out on a commercial basis, then adding a hot tub is a fantastic idea. Ideal for when the weather is less pleasant or for relaxing after a hard day’s holidaying, they are both fun and a selling point if you want to let out the property during holiday season.

However, there are such a broad range of hot tubs available on today’s market that it can be hard to find one that matches your needs, especially if your holiday home has less available outdoor space. Here at Hot Tubs and Living, we stock a wide range of great hot tub brands but for the purposes of furnishing your holiday home, we would recommend purchasing a Softub hot tub.

Why are Softub hot tubs a smart choice for holiday homes?

Space is often at a premium in holiday homes and so if you want to install a hot tub, you may be worried about finding one that fits the space you have available. This is why Softub hot tubs are ideal for situations like these.

The Softub range is smaller than your average hot tub, giving you the perfect hot tub solution for decking, patios, and balconies. However, it is not just their size that makes them perfect for small spaces, it’s the fact that they are smaller and yet still packed with the comfort and technological features you would expect from a hot tub.

They are still spacious enough for you and any guests, and the round shape allows you to sit comfortably without being restricted to the seats found in different brands. If you are worried about holiday guests hurting themselves while getting in and out of the hot tub, Softub has designed their range with a non-slip rim, to make them easy and safer to use.

All Softub hot tubs come with powerful massage jets, ideal for Hydrotherapy purposes, LED Lights and Advanced Whisper technology, which makes them the quietest spas in the world – so you can sit back and relax in soothing silence, enjoy your favourite music or a conversation with your loved ones without any background noise to disturb you, or anyone in a holiday home that may be close to yours.

Another consideration when looking to add a hot tub to your holiday home is durability. If the hot tub is to sit quietly during the winter, then you need to choose one that is specifically designed for all seasons. All Softub hot tubs come with Leathertex or Syntex – both robust outer materials that can stand winter temperatures and the summer sun. Helping to keep your hot tub intact all year round.

Softub hot tubs – great on price

Budget is often a huge sticking point when it comes to purchasing a hot tub for a holiday home. If you are planning to rent out the property on a holiday let basis, then it is an investment that can pay for itself. However, if it is for personal use, then you may be concerned about spending too much on a feature you will not get to use all year round.

Softubs are priced hugely competitively to give you the best option for your budget range, from £5,990 to £8,990, so you do not have to compromise on functionality or space and still get value for money.

As well as being an excellent price, with their innovative technology, Softub hot tubs have been made not only to be portable but one of the lightest ranges of hot tubs on the market today. This gives them the advantage of being easy to install and can be fitted by a single person, so you do not have to worry about huge installation costs.

If you are using your holiday home as a holiday let, then you may have concerns over the ongoing cost to run a hot tub. Softub spas are market leaders when it comes to the use of heat recovery technology. The Hydromate incorporates a pump, motor, and heater into a single unit. The filtered water is warmed using heat generated by the motor, reducing energy consumption to an absolute minimum, not only helping reduce your carbon footprint but keeping your energy bills low.

Don’t forget your hot tub accessories!

As well as your hot tub, you should always consider any extra accessories you may need. If you are planning to place your hot tub on an uncovered deck or patio, then a wooden gazebo can keep you protected from the elements. We would also recommend a hot tub cover to keep the water free from insects and debris which can clog up your filters and give you added maintenance costs in the future.
