It’s easy to apply, and you could get a decision in minutes. If you’re new to finance or simply interested in the details, then keep reading for our complete guide to hot tub finance.

Introducing hot tub finance from ideal4Finance

ideal4Finance is a credit broker authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Their job is to find you the best deal on a loan to suit your circumstances.

There are three different types of loan to choose from:

  • Unsecured   not secured against any of your assets
  • Secured tied to your assets such as your property
  • Guarantor supported by a 3rd party with good credit

The interest rate you are offered depends on how much you want to borrow, how long you want to take to pay it back, and your circumstances, e.g., your credit rating. For example, you might to borrow £10,000 and pay it back monthly over five years.

Who is eligible to apply for hot tub finance?

If you are over 18 and live in the UK, you can apply for finance.

Before you apply, you should be aware that ideal4Finance will need to run a ‘soft’ credit search. This will appear on your credit file, but it will not be visible to other lenders.

To complete your application, you’ll need the following information:

  • address including postcode
  • details of any additional income
  • name and address of your employer (if applicable)
  • bank account number and sort code

Gathering these details before you start the application will speed-up the process.

How to choose the right hot tub

When it comes to choosing the right hot tub, your budget and the size of your outdoor space are two of the most important factors you’ll need to consider.

Start by establishing your budget – how much can you comfortably borrow? Narrow down your search to what you can afford, then once you’ve established what is within your budget you can move on to looking at the sizes and models on offer.

When you’re thinking about what size hot tub to buy, you’ll need to look at how much space you have available in your garden and how many seats you’ll need.

If space is at a premium, then there will be some hot tubs that simply won’t fit, so you can rule these out at an early stage. Hard-shelled hot tubs come in three sizes:

  • 2-4 people – small
  • 5-6 people – medium
  • 7+ people – large

Think about who will be using the hot tub and how often, so you can work out how many seats you’ll need. If you plan to use your hot tub for entertaining then it makes sense to invest in a large seven-seater. However, if there are just two of you and you want to use your hot tub to relax in at the end of a tiring day, then consider a small or medium spa.

If relaxation is the main reason you’re investing in a hot tub, then consider how many jets you want and whether you want them to be adjustable. This is a key part of choosing a hot tub, and it could be the deciding factor between two similar models.

At Hot Tubs & Living, we understand that what’s right for one customer is not necessarily going to suit everyone, which is why we invite our customers to visit our showroom and speak to our friendly team.

Budgeting for hot tub accessories

Before you apply for hot tub finance, think about any extras you might need and include them in your budget so you know how much to borrow.

These hot tub accessories are popular with our customers:

  • LED lights and speakers
  • floating trays/game boards
  • drinks holders
  • aromatherapy crystals and elixirs
  • lid stand
  • cover lifter
  • head rests and booster seats
  • weatherproof tub cover
  • hand rail and steps

Additionally, you may want to consider investing in a canopy for your hot tub.

Hot tub gazebos are perfect for creating a private hideaway in your own garden, but they’re also practical, providing a way to keep you and your tub dry when it’s raining.

Why choose Hot Tubs & Living?

Our story started over a decade ago when we had our first spa experience in Germany. We enjoyed it so much that as soon as we returned home, we started researching what was on offer in this country. This led to us starting Hot Tubs & Living, providing people in the UK with high-quality hot tubs at a price they can afford, and now in partnership with ideal4Finance we can also offer our customers hot tub finance.

All too often, consumers turn to the Internet to find cheap hot tubs, but they end up with a poor quality product that costs a fortune to run. With hot tub finance, you don’t have to choose between affordability and quality, because you can have it all.

To book your service package please complete this form and a member of our team will be in touch to arrange your
